Vale Mr Cliff Clare
The National Jockeys Trust and its Trustees express their deep sadness over the passing of Cliff Clare. The thoroughbred racing industry is mourning the loss of the former jockey, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 93. Clare had a long and distinguished career in the saddle spanning 45 years, mainly in New South Wales, where he won over 1500 races.
Clare was an exceptional individual who touched the lives of many through his achievements both on and off the saddle. Despite our sorrow, we celebrate his outstanding contributions to the National Jockeys Trust and the thoroughbred racing industry. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
