Light Infantry Secures 18k Donation For The National Jockeys Trust

The Golden Eagle flew at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, 29 October 2022. The 1500m race for four-year-olds is Australia’s third richest Race, with 10% of the $10 million prize money being donated to the winning owners’ charity of choice. This year, the Trust had the support of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, with Light Infantry being the Horse the Trust had in the race. With Jamie Spencer having the ride, we cheered from the sidelines to watch Light Infantry come in a solid 6th place, with the Trust receiving a donation of $18,000. We want to thank Racing NSW for their initiative and support of such worthwhile charities, and we are very proud to have been chosen to be included in this fantastic race each year.
