RAFFLE & SILENT AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS  

Raffle ticket sales and silent auction bidding commences at 11.30am on Saturday 24 August 2024 and conclude at 3.00pm the same day (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
The draw for the winners will take place on Saturday 24 August 2024 sometime between 3.30pm and 5.00pm at the National Jockeys Trust Race Day Luncheon, held in the Royal Randwick Ballroom, Randwick Racecourse, NSW 2031.
Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets which may be purchased or silent bids made. You must have purchased a raffle ticket or placed a silent auction bid in order to be eligible for a prize.
Entrants must be in attendance at the Race Day Luncheon event but do not need not be present in the room at the time of winner announcement to win.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you the silent auction bidder, accept that as a successful winner of an item, you will fully pay for the item (including any surcharge, tax or delivery costs) of all the items you win within 3 days of the conclusion of the event).
There is no minimum increment requirements nor reserve on silent auction items.
Upon conclusion of the silent auction, the highest offer on each bid sheet will be deemed the winning bid at that point.
The legal age for purchasing raffle tickets and/or bidding is 18. If the winners are under the age of 18 years the prizes will be awarded to their parents or legal guardians.
Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
All winners will be notified live on the day, and notified by phone or email within 7 days of the winners being drawn.
National Jockeys Trust shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier/website and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
National Jockeys Trust will make all reasonable efforts to locate the winners and deliver the prizes. If any prizes remain unclaimed National Jockeys Trust will deal with such prizes in accordance with the law.
By entering the raffle and/or Silent Auction, you will allow National Jockeys Trusy to contact you about news, events and general information in relation to the organisation. Purchase of a raffle ticket or bid in the Silent Auction is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
