Thank you for approaching the National Jockeys Trust [NJT] for assistance. We aim to support all current and former jockeys and their families who are faced with financial difficulties due to illness or injury, however we recognise that not everyone's circumstances are the same and some my need help more than others.
In order for us to better understand you, your needs and how we are best placed to assist you, please complete the attached Application Form and also provide any supporting information that will assist in your application. You should submit your application via the website, via fax/email or mail after downloading/printing the form.

All applications are subjected to a detailed review process in order to ensure that you have met the specific criteria of the NJT, namely "being in necessitous circumstances", prior to being considered by the trustees at their regular meetings. Your State/Territory Jockey Association representative will need to provide their support. The NJT Manager will be in touch with you regarding your application prior to its consideration by the Trustees.
You can be assured that all the information you provide will be treated strictly confidentially. Once the application has been assessed by the Trustees, all the infomation will be shredded. This conforms to the provisions of the Privacy Act.
Most applications will be assessed after receipt by the NJT Manager within 30 days however, if there is high urgency, please request the State/Territory Representative to contact the NJT Manager immediately.
